某コンサートの幕前、ステージ全面をスクリーンにし投影しながらこの曲のリミックスがかかっていたのだけど…
まあ、英語の場合、歌詞の意味を全部とるプロデューシングは一切していないので、意味をとっているのはタイトルだけ（開演前の雰囲気をお楽しみください）なんだろうけど、歌詞を取ると意味深過ぎる…と思って。
彼ら（D.M.）は内面的/内向的な部分を語るグループだからね。

昨日発表されたアメリカの5月の失業率、9.4%。25年9ヶ月ぶりの水準とか。
そのころと言えば、1983年。このグループが初シングルをリリースして、ヒット。ムーブメントを起こすきっかけになった曲。

ただ日本はと言えば、宅急便の取り扱い個数が底打ち、5月はカレンダー要因を除けば前同増とも言える状況に、生産調整も終わり工場稼働率が少し上がり初め、底打ち感もすこしづつ。
それを維持するための税金の再配分をどうするかの議論がなぜか報道されないのはどうしてなんだろうね、と。

本日衆院を2次補正予算案が通過。
2兆円の「家計支援」。
読売新聞は2兆円でできることとして「年収200万円で100万人の雇用」ということをあげていたけど、保険や給与計算などの手続き方で、少なくとも何割かの経費かかかることもご存じない、のどかな政治記者に偉そうに経済政策を書かれてしまう愚かさはともかく。
それに対して2兆円で行うべき政策で戦わず、それを受け取るかどうかで「ブレている」なんて質疑応答でお茶を濁す政治家も「ブレている」訳だし、それ以上に年末困っている人がいるからという経済支援策を先送りしてしまう与党も与党だ。間違っていても通すなら通して、審判を仰ぐべきじゃなかったのか。おそらく地域振興券並に効果はないと思うけど。（別の意味で大都市ほど使い勝手が良いというこれだけ地方を馬鹿にした施策も珍しかった）
それら政治家を無関心に選んで、直接政治家に文句も言わず、上っ面の字が読める読めないで非難する。
政治家なんてのは何をするかが大事なのに。
まあ、実際、社会の実利的には何もしていないけど。
ここから1ヶ月参院で空転する。まあ、意味のない国会が継続する。
でも、これは郵政の選挙だと勘違いして、とある政党に大量に票を渡した国民の責任でもある。
私たちはあの日、明日を支払ったのだと。

最近、夜長く眠れないので、少し怖いドライブをしながら梅田でチケッティングをして昼食をして帰宅。
帰宅して寝て、気が付けば夜。
